TOPIC : CONSTANTLY ACKNOWLEDGE HIS PRESENCE

SCRIPTURE: II CORINTHIANS 5:7 (TPT) ”for we live by faith, not by what we see with our eyes.”

It is important to remind yourself constantly that everything about Christianity and you being a new creation in Christ Jesus is totally supernatural. Why? Because sometimes living in the natural world and dealing with it’s elements like people, technology and even your physical senses can make you lose consciousness of the real world of the believer ie the Spirit or the supernatural world. Romans 8, verse 9 reminds us that, “….But you are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God dwells in you…..”(NKJV)

As a child of God, the Spirit of God dwelling in you has already ushered you into a new realm, the world where God lives and functions. How then do you stay constantly conscious of your real life in the Spirit in this realm of God? It starts by the daily practice, habit and discipline of confession. Because the tongue has power to condition your body and your whole life, constant acknowledgement and confession of God’s presence in you is very important and beneficial to maintain this awareness. The Apostle James taught us this truth: ”All of us do many wrong things. But if you can control your tongue, you are mature and able to control your whole body.”-James 3:2 (CEV)

Remember that confession has the power to make spiritual realities happen. This is an amazing truth. Ask yourself, how did you become saved as a new creation in Christ Jesus? Rightfully. you acted on Romans 10, verse 9. ”that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.”

Praise be to God! Through the power of believing and confession you got saved. Confession is powerful and carries supernatural power. It is the outflow of what is in your spirit, where the new life in Christ flows and where the power of the Spirit is.

Furthermore, you must also determine to discipline your thoughts, speech and actions through meditation on the Word so that you can constantly remind yourself that your real life is in the Spirit and not in the natural. This will enhance your consciousness of God’s presence daily so that your senses and the difficulties of everyday life don’t make you talk negatively, act in unbelief and grieve the Holy Spirit.

Do you believe God’s presence is in you? Keep saying it and keep meditating on the Word to benefit from His presence in you.

CONFESSION

I testify boldly that I am not alone. The Spirit of God dwells in me. My body has become God’s temple. Christ Jesus lives in me by His Spirit that lives and works in and through me. I am very mighty on the inside. I am unstoppable, I am more than a conqueror and I am victorious on all sides. Jesus is my Lord. I am a winner.

[6]But the righteousness of faith speaks in this way, “Do not say in your heart, ‘Who will ascend into heaven?’ ” (that is, to bring Christ down from above )
[7]or, “ ‘Who will descend into the abyss?’ ” (that is, to bring Christ up from the dead).
[8]But what does it say? “The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart” (that is, the word of faith which we preach):
[9]that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.
[10]For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
