YOU ARE FOR SIGNS AND WONDERS

SCRIPTURE : ACTS 2: 18-19 (NKJV)
” And on My menservants and on My maidservants I will pour out My Spirit in those days; And they shall prophesy. I will show wonders in heaven above and signs in the earth beneath: Blood and fire and vapor of smoke.”
Thanks be to God for the Holy Spirit who indwells us and has made God and the Christian life real and practical to us. That is how important the Spirit of God is in our lives. Without him, the Christian life would be empty. Without him, the Bible is like any other printed material in our hands. He is the reality of God and the supernatural in our lives.
It is common to hear people, both believers and unbelievers, describe our God as being wonderful. Usually, this happens when something amazing and surprising takes place. Often, it’s a miraculous deliverance from some disease or troublesome situation. Sometimes, it is a job situation, family situation or any situation that reveals God’s supernatural power. This is understandable.
Why? Because man on his own cannot produce the supernatural. Remember also that the Holy Spirit is at work in the earth today through believers or the church. What a blessing to know that you are part of what the Lord is doing in the earth today because of his Spirit who dwells in you and is working through you!
Look at today’s verses. What do you see? The coming of the Holy Spirit is accompanied by supernatural signs, wonders and experiences. God has promised us signs and wonders coming along and manifesting with the coming of the Holy Spirit both in the heavens and in the earth. It is so clear.
Child of God, please remember and meditate on this. The Holy Spirit dwells in you. If this Holy Spirit is in you and I, then you should “naturally” expect to see and experience more supernatural signs and wonders in every area of your life. What do you think? Your body has become the temple of this same Holy Spirit, as the Word says. I am thinking, if I had the chance to host any important man like a very rich man or a popular politician for a day, it will be news around the world. But beyond the news, it will be an experience of a lifetime with many blessings.
Now, consider what is happening to you as a believer. You are carrying, keeping and hosting the Holy Spirit, the source and producer of supernatural signs and wonders literally on daily basis. You are not an ordinary person. You cannot be an average person. You cannot tolerate defeat, discouragement and all the negativities of this life that many people entertain.
It is time to rise above all the negative things that keep you from experiencing the supernatural regularly as you should. It is time to pay more attention to your fellowship with and dependence on the Holy Spirit. Supernatural signs, wonders and miracles come from him. You are in good company. You are for signs and wonders.
CONFESSION
I affirm that in Christ Jesus, I have divine provision for my life. I acknowledge the supernatural power resident inside me through the person and working of the Holy Spirit. I am, therefore, enabled, energized and empowered against all the power of the enemy. Victory is certainly mine in Jesus’s name .
