YOUR DOMINION MANDATE
SCRIPTURE: Gen 1:28 NKJV
”Then God blessed them, and God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it; have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over every living thing that moves on the earth.”
As a citizen of the Kingdom of God, you carry a Mandate of Dominion on this earth. From the beginning of creation, it was the intent of our Father God that humanity created in his image should have dominion to rule, manage and control the earth. A mandate is a clearly given authority and responsibility to carry out a specific task.
Even though Man lost the authority element to Satan, Satan was to God a usurper holding illegitimate power. Therefore Satan with the influence of his demons used unrighteous men to discharge man’s mandate in a manner that worked against the will of God. It became a perverted mandate. But God did not revoke the original Mandate to Man.
So God reissued the mandate to righteous Noah; ”God blessed Noah and his sons, and said to them: “Be fruitful and multiply, and fill the earth. And the fear of you and the dread of you shall be on every beast of the earth, on every bird of the air, on all that move on the earth, and on all the fish of the sea. They are given into your hand.” (Gen 9:1-2 NKJV). But because the promised Redeemer (the Christ) had not yet come, the dominion reissued to righteous men did not include authority over Satan.
In the New Creation we are born again in Christ the second Adam. Therefore, we have received a superior mandate. We have been given authority over Satan and devils. This was neccessary since humanity came under Satan’s dominion after the fall. Jesus received all authority and power in heaven and has delegated his power to us the church. Satan is now using deception and manipulation to continue to oppress humanity.
This New Mandate is laid out in Mark 16:15-18; ”And He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned. And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues; they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.”
Authority is worthless if it is not used. This year enforce your dominion over the earth and the enemy. You are empowered to be fruitful, productive, successful, prevail and cast out demons.
CONFESSION
I am born again and made a child of God. I am blessed with authority, responsibility and power to be fruitful, reign on earth, subdue the power of darkness and enforce righteousness and peace over this earth. In Christ I am superior to Satan and have a mandate superior to the mandate of the first Adam. I am fruitful and multiply in soul winning, in my vocation and in my management of the resources of the earth in Jesus’ name. Amen!
