BRING FORTH GOOD THINGS
MATTHEW 12:35 (NKJV)
”A good man out of the good treasure [a]of his heart brings forth good things, and an evil man out of the evil treasure brings forth evil things”
God has given man the ability to conceive both physical and spiritual things. It is important to note that conception begins and forms in the heart before it takes place physically. Let us define the word “Conceive.” The dictionary defines it as ”the forming or devising of a plan or idea” For all children of God, we can say we conceive by the Spirit in our hearts.
That is why the Bible tells us to guard our hearts from the wrong things. Because what you conceive in your heart is what you produce with your mouth and or your actions. Proverbs 4:23 instructs us: ”Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life” (KJV). It is important to guard your heart because whatever the heart conceives is likely to be produced. You can give birth to whatsoever you conceive in your heart, and what is birthed is what the heart has over a period held on to and incubated over a period.
Even before a criminal executes a plan, his heart will conceive it and thinks through very well before he takes action. In the same way, when a Christian conceives an idea and thinks through and understanding comes to him, he or she will produce or give birth. It is therefore important to be careful the ideas or things we fill our hearts with or meditate on. These things obviously feed our mind and the next thing is, it is seen in our actions.
You can bring forth good things from your heart. 1 John 5:4 exhorts us: ”For whatsoever is born of God overcomes the world; and this is the victory that overcomes the world, even our faith.” The term ’whatsoever’ includes ‘who’ and ‘what.’ This means that apart from people, we can also give birth, by the Spirit of God, to things other than people. Whatsoever is born of God may be ministries, business, wealth, marriage, plans, purposes, inventions, etc.
Let us, therefore, sow good seeds in our hearts this year, 2026. Let us conceive every good thing, let us meditate on the Word of God. Out of our meditation and conception, we will birth glorious things. Your childbirth is possible, your new business is possible, your ministry is possible. It all starts with you and what you see. See the end from the beginning, believe it is possible and you will see it manifest.
CONFESSION
Father, I thank you for giving me a heart to conceive. My life is producing glorious things because my spirit sees only the realities of the Word of God. All I see is good health, prosperity, ministry expansion, good marriage and spiritual offspring in Jesus’ name. Amen
