YOU ARE NOT HERE BY CHANCE
SCRIPTURE: EPHESIANS 1:4 (NKJV)
”as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love”
The wisdom and foresight of God is amazing and wonderful. One way His wisdom is displayed is in his plans and purposes. It is so refreshing and encouraging to know that our Father thought about having sons and daughters like you and I through Christ Jesus even before the foundation of the world.
Your life in Christ Jesus and your earthly existence therefore were thought of before the world was created. Really? Yes! God the Father thought about you long before you ever thought about him. Infact, before he thought about natural creation in Genesis 1, he had you and I, the new creation in Christ Jesus already in mind. Hallelujah!
This is one powerful truth today’s verse is reminding us of. It is reminding us of who we are and how much we matter with our identity and presence here on earth. Notice that ”…He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world…”
As a child of God, you are not an accident. He thought of you before the foundation of the world. You are not here by chance. The Father ordained ahead of time that you should be here now as Paul stated in Ephesians 2:10; ”For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them” (KJV). You are the product of a divine hand, a divine design and divine timing.
That is why you are capable of great things in Christ Jesus. You are not just a child of your biological parents. You are not just a male or female. You are more than just a citizen of your nation. You are the product of a divine plan that enables you to make a difference everywhere you find yourself. You are made for impact, influence and positive change. Your world needs you. You represent answers to the questions of your community.
This is who you are in the plan of God and it is important that you accept, acknowledge and boldly declare this identity you have in Christ Jesus constantly. Your constant affirmation of this spiritual truth will work progressively to bring you into a full experiential knowledge of what it means. That is one important way you will see progress in every way of your life. It has been settled. You are not an ordinary person. You are God’s masterpiece!
CONFESSION.
My life is a product of my heavenly father’s divine plan and design. His thoughts for me are simply amazing. I am the new creation in Christ Jesus that was thought of before natural creation. I am what the Word says I am. I have what the Word says I have. I rejoice in my identity in Christ Jesus.
